Paintball scenario games are growing in popularity year after year and they don't have rules that are written in stone - you and your paintball buddies make the rules as you want them to apply to your own individual games. One scenario game that gets a lot of play both in woodsball games and on professional paintball fields is a game usually called "Sniper" although there are a lot of variations to the name. It is played by one player being chosen to go into the woods or hide on the field. That player then attempts to mark and get as many people off the field as he can without getting hit himself. When the sniper is marked, the game is over. If you're going to play a game of Sniper and you are chosen to be the sniper, make sure you have a good gun for the game. A longer barrelled silently shooting marker won't give away your position to everyone with each shot you make.
Some paintball teams reenact famous battles through paintball where the players are soldiers with very specific missions as based on a historical battle. Reenactments are another fun way to play out a scenario game when playing paintball.
