Once you start to gather up a decent amount of players, you may then want to look for a decent piece of open land to play on if you do not have land of your own. After you have the location all worked out, you can then bring in barrels, logs and other obstacles as you see fit to give you the ultimate experience. Do not worry about the paint all over the land, because paintballs are now made with non-toxic fillers that will not harm plant life or any of the wildlife in your area.
Some people who organize games themselves like to purchase a certain amount of extra paintballs and other miscellaneous gear. This way, if players run out, they can purchase items from you and keep on playing for the day. Setting up a schedule of upcoming games and a list of the names and numbers of the players is a great idea. This way you can all keep in touch and have a great time playing as much as possible.
